The battle between Eternamax Eternatus was somewhat predictable, but exciting as well. Now this was a pretty exciting conclusion to the Darkest Day Arc. Regardless the animation was pretty cool and exciting, especially all the Eternatus parts. It all takes me back to the Team Flare Arc during the XY and Z Series! I do kinda wish Ash was with Goh when he and Sonia went to go see Zacian and Zamazenta like the Player and Hop did in the games just a little bit. Now that they were done building up on the Darkest Day Arc, things really took an exciting turn here here! I personally like what they did with the Eternatus animation, and all of the tensions between Rose and Leon. But of course they didn’t have much time to fully research the History of the Darkest Day until now. But things didn’t get really exciting till the end of the episode where Goh battles one of the Marco’s Cosmos Goon, in with Goh Dynamaxes Raboot for the first time.
Ash and Rose’s meeting kinda reminds me of the one he had with Lysandre back in the XY and Z Series, but Pikachu senses bad vibes from Rose, due to past experiences with villians like them. That will lead to some development for Goh in the future, and possibly be his next dvillains. We get to see some of Sonia and Leon’s childhood history together, and that Goh could possibly become a Pokémon Researcher someday. Things slowly began to get more interesting here. Ash’s battle with the Gigantimax Centiscorch wasn’t too shabby either. It was an pretty good start, as they started with Ash and Goh encountering Zacian and Zamazenta in The Slumbering Weald like the Player and Hop in the games respectively. While The Darkest Day Arc started a bit slowly, cause unlike previous arcs, they didn’t give much time to build up on the Darkest Day Arc.
